While we arrange and direct every funeral in the unique manner requested by each family, there are common combinations of Professional Services, use of facilities and Staff, and automotive equipment.  The following is a listing of some of the more frequently requested funeral types selected by the families we serve.

Traditional Funeral Service

The Traditional Funeral Service is a one-day/evening visitation at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. followed by Funeral Ceremony the following day at the Funeral Home, Church or Chapel.  The ceremony can be followed by interment, entombment or cremation.

Adjusted Traditional Funeral Service

The Adjusted Traditional Funeral Service is visitation prior to same-day Funeral Ceremony at the Funeral Home, Church or Chapel.  The ceremony can be followed by interment, entombment or cremation.

Visitation Funeral Service

The Visitation Funeral Service is a one-day/evening visitation at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., which may conclude in a Funeral Ceremony at the Funeral Home.  The Visitation Funeral Service Package is usually selected with cremation or shipping to another funeral home.

The above services are offered with either open or closed casket for visitation. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.  If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.  It is our policy to require embalming for open casket, public viewing.

Cremation Options

Choosing cremation over other forms of disposition, in no way limits the services available to you.  In fact, cremation can be selected with all the above listed service types.  Additionally, for those choosing direct cremation we offer:

Memorial Service or Memorial Visitation

The use of “Memorial” with service or visitation means that the deceased remains are not physically present.  The distinction that we make between a memorial service and memorial visitation is the duration our facility is requested.
