Military Honors

Generally all honorably discharged members of the US armed forces are entitled to military honors provided by members of their branch of service. Honors provided are:

·        Flag folding detail

·        Flag presentation

·        Playing of Taps.

Burial Benefits

Additionally most members of the U.S. armed forces, separated under conditions other than dishonorable and all active duty veterans may be entitled to:

• Burial in a National Cemetery

• Flag

• Headstone or Grave Marker

• Presidential Memorial Certificate

Under certain circumstances (dying while hospitalized in a VA hospital, death due to service connected disability, pension compensation status) Veterans may be entitled to monetary compensation.  Your Funeral Director can assist with any claims that you may be entitled, or see www.cem.va.gov for additional information
